Ronda Middleton is known as much for her sharp legal skills as for her compassionate work with clients on domestic violence and child custody cases. Whether her clients are engaged in bitter child custody and paternity issues; seeking prenuptial or postnuptial agreements; going through divorce, property settlements or requiring litigation; Ronda ensures a 24-hour response. Her personal approach is to resolve each case with the least emotional and financial toll on all parties involved, as profiled in Inland Empire Magazine, “The IE’s Best Lawyers,” November 2008.
Previously, Ronda was a founding partner in the Law Office of Sheasby & Middleton, P.C., known as a leading Family Law and Estate Planning Law firm with offices in Irvine, Century City, and San Bernardino County. Since its founding in 2004, the firm represented hundreds of divorce and child custody clients ranging from clients with multi-million dollar estates to pro bono custody cases that needed immediate attention. Ronda’s litigation expertise began as an attorney with a prestigious West L.A. Family Law firm.
Over the last decade, Ronda has built a growing clientele through her ability to connect on an emotional level with clients and whenever possible, achieve out of court settlements for the good of all parties involved. Her remarkable results in this area come from twelve years of work in higher education where she counseled and mentored minority students, mostly from single-parent homes. Her ability to recognize the impact divorce had on these kids compelled her to pursue Family Law to help future generations build hope after the turmoil of divorce.
Ronda earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Riverside; a Masters Degree in Public Administration from California State University, San Bernardino; and a Juris Doctor from Chapman University in Orange. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in December 2001 and is a member of the Orange County Bar Association.
Active in her community, Ronda serves on the board of FACES (Family Assessment Counseling & Education Service), is First Vice President for the Woman’s Club of Fullerton, Guest Lectures for Yorba Linda Community Center, where she teaches a “Women and Divorce” seminar each month, and is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Orange County.
